Brian Emery, rehearsal accompanist

A native of Chatham, Ontario, Brian Emery enjoys a varied career as teacher, chorister and conductor. He is a graduate of the University of Guelph (Science) and the University of Western Ontario (Music Education). He received the Gold Medal in the ARCT examination in Voice from the Royal Conservatory of Music and a Silver Medal in Organ from the same school.

He is currently in his twenty-sixth year as a chorister with the Elora Singers and is Director of Music at St. Marys Presbyterian Church. He has for ten years been an accompanist for the St. Marys Children's Choir and has prepared nearly four hundred candidates for conservatory examinations.

Brian is very pleased to be able to work with Ian Sadler and the SCC this year.
